Hi there Simple Stories friends!
Nathalie with you today to share a new project featuring the beautiful and fun PET SHOPPE and PET SHOPPE CAT collections. These collections are just so perfect to document your furry/scaly children with style. Let me show you what I created all about my cat nephew, Chico.
I started with the Lil’ Cat Nap paper (Pet Shoppe Cat collection) as the background for the page. I cut two pieces from the Keepin’ It Wild (Pet Shoppe Collection) and attached them to the side of the background.
Next, I cut two large strips of the Cattitude! Paper (Pet Shoppe Cat collection). Using a pencil, I drew a half diamond shape, and proceed it to cut each color strip to the penciled line. Using a thin skewer, I created the curls of paper, so that they form the diamond shape on the background.
Once all the papers were in place, it was all about the photos. I backed them with patterned papers from the Pet Shoppe collection and glued to the page. I am using the title from the Pet Shoppe Simple Pages Page Pieces; I used a hole punch to create the small perforations at each corner of the heart, this helped when attaching the “Good Kitty” chipboard piece to the title.
I added a selection of pieces from the embellishments of the Pet Shoppe Cat collection. These were placed on the page so that they help accent the diamond shape of the center of the page.
To finish, I added a few extra embellishments to elongate the design of the page a bit and add extra pops of color. Just love the brads in each of the collections!
This page came together easily, and looks just like I had imagined it. I hope you check the new PET SHOPPE Collections; they are amazing!
