This collection is bursting with everything we love about summer: barbecue, beach, picnics, sunshine, fresh air, and happy moments. Inspired by that feeling (and by the growing trend of miniatures and tiny creations), I decided to bring this idea into scrapbooking and build a small, magical scene. I started by transforming a simple tin into a little landscape: adding a grassy floral ground, a bright sky, trees, and sweet details that create a cozy outdoor atmosphere.
Inside this tiny world, I imagined myself enjoying a peaceful picnic at the park. I added a small photo of me, carefully fussy cut, so it blends naturally into the scene, almost like I’m part of this miniature story (like a Polly Pocket of myself). It’s such a playful and creative way to document a memory!
To bring everything together, I used patterned papers, chipboard elements, stickers, and fussy cut details from the collection. The process was simple, relaxing, and so enjoyable... one of those projects that truly reminds us why we love crafting.
It’s proof that memories don’t always have to live on pages.
