Indigo Garden, with its stunning patterns and colors, is one of those collections that just makes you stop and swoon! Christine joining you today with a layout featuring this vintage collection!
I was immediately drawn to this paper! It has a wreath in the center and is one of those papers that is just ready to be used. I used my craft knife to trim out parts of the inside of the wreath so that I could tuck my photo into it.
In addition to tucking the picture into the wreath, I also did the same with a cardstock background. This cardstock was wide enough to serve as a photo matt but stretched the entire height of the layout.
With all the floral elements, I knew placing a title was going to be a challenge. This foam sticker worked perfectly when I set it up against my picture!
With a ready-made paper like this, embellishing definitely can be at a minimum! I focused on adding a little dimension using chipboard, enamel dots, foam sticker pieces.
One little tip I have for you, is that if an embellishment piece doesn't quite work for you, make it work! I topped this chipboard heart with a heart from the sticker book - I covered up the words on the chipboard heart and make a cute, layered embellishment.
