Hello Simple Stories fans! Suzanna here today to share with you a mistletoe kiss layout created using Hearth & Holiday. There are so many wonderful Christmas collections released by Simple Stories this holiday season, but I think this is amongst my favorites.
Here’s the layout.
This collection has a bit of a vintage, more creamy feel to it so I edited the 4x3 photos with a similar feel. I backed them with two of the tags, they are my all-time favorite of all the products Simple Stories makes.
A mix of various patterns and a phrase from the 12x12 patterned papers from the collection pack were used for the circles in the body of the layout. The smaller patterns in the paper pad allowed for more visible design in the smaller circles.
Scattered amongst the various circles are different elements from the collection; Bits & Pieces, Chipboard Sticker and stickers from the 12x12 collection sheet. All just fun elements that add more color and visual interest to the page. One of the “blank” tags was used for journaling.
And, of course, there had to be some mistletoe hanging somewhere! What better place than the top of the page, layered with another bow, popped up on foam and a little tag for a punch of color.
