Hello friends, it's Dorymar! I can't believe Christmas is almost here, it's my favorite time of year! Today, I'm excited to share a delightful project from our new collection, "Say Cheese Classic Mouse Christmas." Let's take a closer look!
This collection features charming shades of green and red, but what I love most is how the mint color makes a striking appearance, creating perfect harmony. That's why I chose to use the Robbin Egg 6x8 Flipbook, as it complements the collection beautifully.
For my cover, I selected two patterned papers: the Merry Magic 12x12 paper and a dotted design from the 6x8 paper pad. As the title, I used the phrase "Merry Christmas" and added decorative pieces around it, all of which can be found in the Foam Stickers pack.
Inside the cover, I created a pocket and added cards and tags to document my holidays. I decorated it with pieces from Bits and Pieces, Foam stickers, Journal Elements patterned paper, and Decorative Brads.
I created the first page using leftover Merry Magic paper. On the front, I designed a background by combining two different patterns and added a beautiful collage around my photo.
On the back, I made a flap with a pocket. Inside, I included cards and tags as usual, along with space for two photos. I decorated it using the lovely pieces from the collection.
I love filling my pocket pages with the 3x4 and 4x6 cards included in the 12x12 patterned papers. To personalize them, I always add layers of paper, phrases, and various elements from the collection to enhance their appeal.
The layering technique is one of my absolute favorites! I relish the opportunity to combine vibrant patterns and explore the art of mixing and matching. This creative process truly elevates my photographs, making them more captivating and memorable! I wholeheartedly adore every piece in this collection.
One of my greatest passions is experimenting with various page sizes. This is why I find joy in crafting interactive pages using the stunning papers from the collection. I encourage you to create delightful pockets, charming flaps, and to play with layers, all of which allow you to fully unleash your creativity and explore the incredible range of products that Simple Stories has to offer. They are truly fantastic!
