Hi Friends! Emilie Chamel here for Simple Stories and this month I am super excited to create using the Simple Vintage Christmas Lodge Collection!
What a stunning collection! Vintage styled Christmas collections always have a special place in my heart because they remind me of the Christmases from my childhood and they never go out of style.
I can’t believe how easily this layout came together. Using a background with a big bold pattern really helped as it naturally added a lot of details to my page, without having to spend a lot of time on layering.
The chipboard frames are such a great way to make our photographs the center of attention, even with a busy layout! They naturally bring the eye to the subject and does a lot of the heavy lifting.
I love my florals and this layout was no exception. The many choices of branches, floral ephemeras and stickers helps to create stunning layers.
By curling all the ephemera around a paint-brush handle, it creates a volume that brings all the florals to life.
Layering chipboard elements behind my photographs adds a lot of volume and gorgeousness. The CHIPBOARD CLUSTERS help to add even more visual depth without adding too much weight to my page which is a win-win.
To finish it all off, I created my title with the FOAM STICKERS alongside the word that was already printed on the frame. It is all such a perfect combination!
