Hi friends, @vickiscraps here and I’m excited to share this layout created with the Vintage Junk Drawer collection. This collection is full of beautiful vintage details — tickets, clocks, labels, and soft patterns — and it’s perfect for creating layered pages that feel nostalgic and timeless. I especially love the butterflies, which add movement and softness to the design.
For this page, I wanted the embellishments to flow organically around the photo, almost like the memory itself was unfolding across the page. I began by layering the reverse of the Small Things and 4x6 Elements papers on the left side of the page, combining a soft blue design with a pretty floral paper for contrast. This created a strong foundation while still keeping the overall look light.
My photo was placed slightly left of centre so it could overlap the layers and feel integrated into the page. Around the photo, I layered ticket pieces, clocks, and small ephemera to enhance the vintage feel of the collection. The title was built using a mix of foam alphas and stickers.
To finish the page, I scattered butterflies in varying sizes and colours, allowing them to flow from the top of the page down toward the title. This adds movement and helps balance the heavier layering on the left with the open space on the right.
