Hello Simple Stories friends, Becki here, to share a mini album that I created with the Wildflower collection. Simple Stories collaborated with My Mind’s Eye to create this stunning collection. This collaboration is a match made in heaven!!
I wanted the pages of this album to be 3” x 4” so that I could use papers from the 3x4 Elements paper as some of the pages. I made the front and back covers of the album 3 ½ x 4 ½ out of chipboard. Then, I covered the chipboard with patterned paper. This album has tons of texture and dimension! One of those layers of texture is stitching. I used my sewing machine and white thread to stitch around each page and the covers of the album.
The cover of the album is layered with Floral Bits, foam stickers, and enamel dots. It turned out gorgeous!! It looks amazing sitting on the shelf in my craft room. This album is filled with photos of my husband and me. Now that our kids are older, we spend a lot more time with just the two of us. We also take a lot more photos with just the two of us!
This album has a lot of interactive elements. I love adding pockets and flip-ups to my mini albums. Interactive elements also make room for more of the most important things, photos and journaling!
My favorite thing about the Wildflower collection is the florals! There are so many gorgeous flowers throughout this collection. I made sure to add them anywhere and everywhere throughout the album! Yes, I love them that much!!
