Hello scrapbook friends!
My name is Michele Flint, and I’ve been scrapbooking for more than 35 years. My mom introduced me to scrapbooking back when all we had to work with was colored cardstock and Mrs. Grossman stickers! (Do you remember those days?) In high school, I was the Student Body Historian which means I had to create a scrapbook to capture the school year. I love recording history and documenting my life through scrapbooking!
I’ve been married to my husband, Ron, for 35 years, and together we have three kids—Noah, Jonah, and Hannah—as well as our dog, Rowdy. Twice a year, I head to the mountains with my friends, the "Pink Poodles", where we scrapbook, eat, watch chick flicks, and laugh until it hurts.
For the past three years, I’ve been lucky enough to work at Simple Stories, though I was a loyal customer from the very beginning! If you’ve visited our outlet store in the last three years, chances are you’ve probably met me—I’m the office manager! My job includes a little bit of everything: running the outlet store, managing the online store, managing the blog for our Design Team, and even making projects now and then. Can you say Dream Job??!!
Some of my favorite supplies are the Color Vibe shades Wintermint and Tomato, and I absolutely love using The Page Templates. They make layouts quick and easy. On my Spooky Things layout below, I used Designs 4 and 11 to pull everything together.
Our Spooky Things collection was the perfect match for these photos of my "Pink Poodles" at the Witches Night Out party!
I love a fun pattern paper, and this collection has the best! Dots, stripes, words, stars and even a plaid!
I also used Bits and Pieces and Foam Stickers to add dimension.
