Hi, I’m Amber! I’m the founder and Creative Director of Simple Stories. Nearly 15 years ago, me and my husband Kevin started Simple Stories with one goal in mind: to create simple, beautiful, and meaningful solutions to help scrapbookers everywhere share their stories in a simple way! What began as a small idea has grown into a beloved brand and community!
At Simple Stories we pride ourselves in creating fresh, simple, and meaningful scrapbook products, including albums, pocket pages, 4x6 and 3x4 elements, embellishments, patterned paper and cardstock—making it easier for paper crafters everywhere to share their memories in a beautiful way. In fact - did you know that we were the first manufacturer in the industry to bring the 6x8 albums and pocket pages to market! We introduced our colorful SN@P! 6x8 chipboard albums, pocket pages and inserts in July 2012 – and our SN@P! 6x8 albums has continued to thrive as a customer favorite!
I’ve had the privilege of turning my passion for memory keeping into an amazing career and I absolutely love what I do! I get to dream up new collections, working alongside incredibly talented graphic designers that bring ideas to life that hopefully sparks creativity and joy for you. Seeing the projects, albums, and memories you create with our products is what inspires me the most.
But more than anything, I love our community. I consider each of you part of the Simple Stories family, and I’m so grateful for the chance to share this creative journey with you. Together, we’re not just making albums and layouts - we’re preserving stories, celebrating moments, and capturing the little things that matter most!
I’m excited to share the 6x8 Flipbook I created of my family’s recent trip to Yellowstone featuring the Simple Vintage Woodlands collection. It was so fun putting this album together and I love how the entire collection beautifully highlights all our outdoor adventures. I love to use a variety of Simple Stories products like Bits & Pieces, Ephemera, Enamel Dots, Chipboard, Flower Bits, Elements and our 6x8 Paper Pad to bring these memories to life!
My favorite core Simple Stories products are our 6x8 SN@P! Album with page inserts and pocket pockets – along with our designer elements that I can cut up and easily create dynamic album pages! And I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE our ColorVibe Cardstock – and although I love all of the colors my favorite, most-used colors are mint, blush and warm white.
