Hello, it’s Emma with you today, and I’d like to share how I’ve been using the Cottage Fields collection. This collection is so beautiful, full of floral patterns, flowers and butterflies! …all my favorite things!
I’ve chosen to use a 6x8 Sn@p! binder, I went for the Robins Egg, but, it was a hard decision to make because the Cottage Fields collection has matching flipbooks!!
I really enjoy decorating the fronts of my binders, so that’s what swung my decision! I firstly covered the binder with the delicate blush gingham paper and then started decorating.
As you know by now I like to add lots of layers by using plenty of the bits and pieces, chipboard pieces, brads and I’ve even used some gold thread to add even more interest!
Ok, let’s have a look at some of the pages I’ve decorated. I tend to do a mix of sizes, here’s some of the full pages. Again I’ve done some layers and even used one of the chipboard frames.
For some of the pages I decided to use 4x6 cards, how sweet is this little bird, this collection is giving me the Spring feels!
The 12x12 collection kit always comes with several pages of ‘cut a part’ pieces, I’ve used a couple of my favorite ones here. I cut them down to the size I wanted and then to make them ‘pop’ I backed them on a plain white card before adding them to the patterned paper. It’s such a simple trick but I think it’s really effective to make them stand out....what do you think?
