Hi, Friends! Andrea here sharing a layout I made for my sister using the Simple Vintage Meadow Flowers collection. This is such a soft and delicate collection and it was perfect to document her visit to Newman’s Castle in Belleville, TX last year.
I kept this page fairly simple since it will be in my sister’s album and she isn’t a big fan of dimension like me. I combined patterned papers and the white paper from the Basics Kit. I created a layered background with strips of the plaid papers arranged in rainbow order. I wanted this to be a multi-photo layout, and I added a couple of horizontal 4”x3” photos and a 3x4 photo. If you look closely, you can find details under the photos and journaling card that were made with the rub-ons. I love that Simple Stories brought rub-ons back. I used a 4x3 journaling card to write my journaling.
I created a visual triangle of title words from the chipboard clusters and a trio of butterflies that you can find on the 12x12 cardstock Sticker sheet. This page may be a bit different from what I would create for myself, but I made it keeping my sister and her style in mind, and I am really happy with how it turned out.
I hope this project inspires you to pick this gorgeous collection to document your memories. I cannot wait to see what you create with it.
Love,
Andrea.
