Hello Simple Stories friends, it’s Becki here, to share a layout with you that I created using the Simple Vintage Winter Woods collection. This collection is gorgeous! It’s filled with soft colors and so many beautiful winter themed images. One of my favorite Simple Stories products is the chipboard frames. I decided to back a few of those frames with patterned paper and layer them together to create a beautiful cluster of embellishments around my photo.

After backing the frames with patterned paper and layering them together, I adhered them to the patterned paper background. I used a lot of foam adhesive to make sure that the chipboard wouldn’t sag or bend against the other frames. I chose a soft plaid background with a green patterned paper frame from the Simple Vintage Winter Woods Basics kit.
After adhering the chipboard frames to the background, I added my photo (in a chipboard frame) on the top layer. I printed my journaling using the American Typewriter font and nestled it in a frame next to my photo.
Last but not least, it was time to embellish this layout. I tucked die cuts, foam stickers, stickers, and enamel dots around the frames and my photo. This layout is FULL of gorgeous frames and embellishments. This collection is so pretty and it helped me tell the story about my husband and me.
