Hi everyone, welcome back on the Simple Stories blog, Cristina here today to show you my 2021 first project. Happy new year to all of you friends!!!
Today I am showing you a ring mini book made with the amazing Sweet talk collection. I totally love this collection because It’s full of lovely elements and also has my favorite color combinations.
Since I don't have my human valentine at the moment I decided to dedicate this mini album to my kitty love that has red fur, green eyes, and pink nose. A wad of fur that I adore, and this amazing kitty is named Milo.
I chose three patterned papers in the collection kit and a wood pattern one in the wood basics collection. The wood basics collection creates a beautiful wood effect and perfectly matches with the pastel colors in the sweet talk collection.
I chose to bind the pages with a metal ring because I think it is a very suitable and versatile system to add as many pages as you want without any thickness restrictions between the pages. I love to use various thicknesses and create layers with all the wonderful embellishments featured in this collection. I used cardstock, chipboard, puffy and foam stickers, brads and enamel dots to add a round element that is always present in my works.
I love to see all of the different embellishments in every Simple Stories collections because I love finding the right one that best suits the composition I want to create on each page and each photo. The die-cuts are so packed with elements, labels and tags to create your own journaling, and the foam alphabets are the best to create big titles with a lovely 3D effect.
I hope that you liked my project and if you have any questions please leave me a comment below and I’ll keep in touch with you.
Thanks for joining me today and see you next time.
Bye.
