Love Always! by Kylie Kingham

Hi friends! It’s Kylie back with you all on the blog today with a brand new layout featuring ‘Sweet Talk’. This adorable new collection comes with such a fun and colorful palette with the cutest icons centred around a ‘Love’ theme. As per usual I struggled to choose what papers I wanted to use, ( I always want to use them all!...) so I chose a layout design that could incorporate as many different patterns as I could for a bright, colorful page.

I selected the ‘LOVE IS’ for my background page and began by cutting a 1 inch strip from the top and bottom of my page. I then removed an extra 1cm from the top and bottom of the remaining piece. All edges were distressed a little for texture before adhering all the pieces onto the reverse side of the same paper ‘LOVE IS’. I carefully ruffled the edges a little further once in place.

Next, I adhered a 13cm wide piece of ‘WILL YOU BE MINE’ paper through the middle of my page with distressed edges. To break the color tone a little I added two fish tail banners created from the ‘SWEET THING’ and ‘LOVE IS IN THE AIR’ papers. As I always mention, I love large titles and I created my page title from the FOAM STICKERS. (My favorite!)

My photo was printed to 6”x 4” and adhered to my background with foam tape adhesive so that it gave the appearance of height. This also enables me to add embellishments underneath my photo adding extra dimension. I kept the embellishments minimal as there was so much color and I wanted my large titles to be the major impact on my page.
