I can’t believe that our Summer is coming to an end, already! Stop the time please! I’m enjoying the last days of vacation, so a slower time to spend with my family and friends, at the sea , I wish time would stop at these beautiful moments.
This color palette is dreamy and airy and as you know I am always in love with the embellishments. I am obsessed with the bits and pieces and the journaling bits.
I started with the background using the gorgeous 6x8 road map stencil spreading an oxide ink. So what I did for this page? Around the web I have often seen pages with a centric design with all the supplies folded in half so I wanted to reply something like this.
I chose many pieces and some patterned papers to fold, this time I didn’t stitch them I just stuck them on a line of double side tape in their place of the fold. Even the little picture is folded as well.
Once the composition is almost done I usually start to insert little touches of attention so enamel dots, little foam stickers, again little pieces of ephemera. I made some little drops of colors using the watercolors and at the end I closed all the composition with a brown cotton thread using the stapler at the two sides.
