Living the Good Life! by Loredana Bucaria
Hello everyone! It’s Lory here today yay! Wow July is already gone and it’s incredible how fast the time is going on this summer don’t you think? It was just the end of may and in an instant we are at the end of July! Please if you have the secret to stop the time share it with me! LOL

I am living the lady summer days, everything moves so slowly and I am recharging my batteries, but before to rest and enjoy my vacation I am so excited to share with you all my latest page created with the gorgeous and so dreamy Simple Vintage Coastal collection! It makes me feel summer! LOL
The colors, the palms, the papers with a map! I have always loved this collection! So dreamy and airy.
So today I share with you a new page. A 12x12 layout with a white background where I played with the patterned papers and a lot of gorgeous embellishments.

I started the page creating a soft colored background with the retro diamonds stencil and a peach color spread here and there, my picture has a little of this color so I thought it was perfect. Then I teared off a piece of my white cardstock paper and I added some torn stripes of various patterned papers.
I have adhered one on another creating a border. Love the mix of soft and bold colors in this collection. Once I did it I started thinking how to create the right frame for my picture and my story. Among the paper stripes I added some phrase die cut and stickers.

Then I started to play with all different kids of embellishments creating a cluster and using the double side tape to create the usual dynamism that I love and that caught my eyes.

It’s so beautiful to mix together foam stickers that are thick with the thin stickers and phrases that I adore. The color palette of this collection was just perfect for my picture placed on the beach at the sunshine.

The dimensional stickers with the phrase stickers are my favorite kinds of embellishments. To finish the page I added my handwriting journaling and some drops of white acrylic ink and emerald ink here and there.
