It’s Sophie on the blog today, sharing this lovely page created with the Simple Vintage Lavender Fields collection!
I started by cutting three large tags from the 6x8 paper pad and arranging them in a horizontal row across a 12x12 white cardstock base. I then added three fussy-cut tags from the Tags patterned paper and tied a delicate little bow with white thread on each one.
I used a black-and-white photo tucked between the second and third tags, mounted on foam adhesive for a nice lift off the page.
To frame the design, I cut a 6x12 rectangle from the cream 12x12 Vintage Basics kit paper and centered it on the layout. I layered a white scalloped border made with a border punch, along with a beige scalloped border punched with a circle punch from my stash — both adding beautiful texture and dimension.
I finished the page with an abundance of embellishments: floral die cuts, chipboard pieces, journal bits and labels, and a few decorative brads and glitter enamel dots for the perfect final touch.
