The Family Fun Collection documents exactly what it says - all the fun activities that are part of regular life for families. From games to movies to recreational activities, this collection covers it! I debated which topic to dive into, but ultimately decided to focus on the games side of things! Christine joining you today with a layout full of Family Fun.
One thing that is especially notable about this collection is that it has a lot of elements that you can use to document the lockdown times of Covid. I combined a picture from that time, when we played a lot of games, and a more current one. It made me realize how many games have carried over from that time period - we discovered them and then continue to love them now.
My pictures were unintentionally similar in how they are set up which made them perfect to work together. Using three simple patterned papers from the collection, I created a background.
Next I used the Tags patterned paper to create unique frames around my photos. I placed two right next to each other and then two more upside down. This was a great way to be able to include some additional patterns in a smaller way.
I created clusters combining elements from the Page Pieces set. I used nearly the entire set on my clusters.
I also added enamel dots to the clusters. For each cluster, I like to keep some common elements, helping to provide unity to the layout. I started with a bigger piece and then added stars.
My title was created using a combination of the Foam Stickers and another piece from the Page Pieces set. Combining products is my favorite way to create a title!
