Hi there! Tya here! I am up on the blog today sharing my latest batch of handmade cards featuring the super fun “Say Cheese- Main Street” collection! And let me tell you – making these cards was so therapeutic for me! See, I am a Disney-aholic! I love all things Disney and was going through some serious Disney withdrawal! My daughter I were lucky enough to get one more Disneyland trip in to celebrate her birthday before it shut down back in March. In fact, we were there 2 days before it closed so we count our lucky stars we got in a visit before it closed. This cute collection was just what I needed to get my Disney fix! I’ve got eight cards to share with you today – let’s check them out!
I just adore all the ephemera that come with our collections. I always try to utilize both the Journal Bits and the Bits and Pieces on all of my cards and these ones were no exception. The cute Magical Memories die cut made for a great card sentiment.
The pattern papers in the collection were the classic colors that we have all come to know and love. I really liked the addition of the light blue as well!
There are some really fun shapes in the Chipboard stickers that I used a lot of as well. How cute are these cameras? The red one fit perfectly on the “Say Cheese” sentiment.
So I got these adorable little Mickey Mouse shaped clay sprinkles that I knew I needed to use to make a shaker card. Shaker cards are my latest obsession and so I couldn’t pass up the chance to use this collection to make one! All the embellishments around the shaker window made the card that much more fun!
Here are a few more cards:
I just have to point out one of my favorite icons in the collection. The row of buildings on this card is a sticker from the Cardstock Sticker Sheet and is so reminiscent of the oodles of cute shops on Main Street Disney! I loved these so much so I made this card to celebrate that hopefully I will be able to walk down my favorite Main Street again soon!
If you are in need of a Disney fix, RUN! Don’t walk! And snag this one up! There are some really adorable icons and papers in this collection that make for some great card making! So send a little Main Street Magic to your favorite Mouseketeers to brighten their days! I know it did mine! Happy crafting my friends!
