Hi friends,
I'm so happy to be back on the blog with a magical album! I love all things Disney and Harry Potter and the newest Say Cheese collections are a must have! They work great for theme parks as well as themed birthday parties. Read on for all of the pictures and details.
For this project, I used the Limited Edition Say Cheese Snap Binder and the Say Cheese Magic and Say Cheese Epic collections. I love the album with our favorite mouse but wanted to bling him out. I used a mix of black rhinestones to make him pop. I then added my title using the Say Cheese Magic Sticker Book alphabet. I also decorated the inside of the cover which you can take a peek at in my YouTube walkthrough video.
For the inside pages, I did a mix of pocket pages and outside the pocket pages. I also used the included divider tabs to document our trip by day. I decorated the divider tabs and added the day on the back of each.
For my first "special" page, I fussy cut the large Mickey ears from the 'Oh Boy!' paper and added machine stitching in silver thread. I added my 2x2 photo and bits & pieces ephemera.
For some of the pocket pages, I added flip ups so I could add more journaling or photos using the 3x4 elements paper. I also added some pom pom trims to a few of the pages for a fun element.
I couldn't resist creating more Mickeys so I created a 6.75 x 8.5" page. I cut apart the red and pink stripes in the 'Hello Magic' paper and adhered them on a white cardstock. I then machine stitched a border all around with silver thread. Using my 2" and 1.5" punches, I cut out circles and arranged them into Mickeys. I added them using foam tape for dimension. To finish off the look, I added the bow and hat stickers. I love how this page turned out.
The last specialty page I have is a full-page flip out using the 'Yoo Hoo!' paper. I trimmed it to 8.5 x 10.5" making sure that Minnie is intact on the back. I had to trim off a little bit off the bottom to keep it to 8.5". I then added a score line at 6.5" from the left (hearts pattern facing up) and folded the flap over. A punched border using white cardstock finishes the foundation of this page. I added the large camera journaling bit, flag banner and a foam 'Happy day' sticker. On the inside of the spread, I added two 4x6 photos and a mix of stickers and ephemera.
