Hello friends! Today I’m sharing a closer look at a cozy and nature-filled album I created using the Simple Vintage Woodlands collection and the new cranberry 6x8 Snap binder. This project is perfect for documenting all your outdoor memories—whether it’s hiking, camping, or just enjoying a quiet moment in nature. My family spent a lot of time outdoors during the Covid years, and this album is filled with photos and moments from one of those adventures.
To start things off, I covered the front of my cranberry binder with a 6 1/4" x 8.5" piece of the Stay Wild paper. The fox and floral pattern is one of my favorites, and I wanted it to shine on the cover. For the title, I combined the “Let’s Go” sticker from the 12x12 sheet with “Explorer” from the foam stickers. I added a foam butterfly and a second butterfly from the Bits & Pieces pack for some extra charm. The scalloped border sticker tied it all together.
For my first page, I used the chipboard divider and covered the front with the Let’s Explore paper (sized 6 1/2" x 8 1/8"). I added a tab sticker, a 4x6 photo matted on the 4x6 Elements paper, and layered in a title and journaling block from the Big Bits pack. A chipboard mushroom from the Decorative Brads, a puffy heart, and a date at the top completed the page.
On the back, I used the Open Road paper and matted my photo on a blue paper from the Vintage Basics kit. I used Journalling bits to create the title, layered on the tag. I finished it off with a border, tags, stars, enamel dots, and brads for lots of playful texture.
Next up was the lined journaling page included in the binder. I embellished both sides with stickers, foam stickers, and Bits & Pieces, then added words and sayings across the lines to bring a little warmth and reflection into the album. My goal is to now write some reflections of those days spent outdoors.

I used the 3x4 and 4x6 pocket pages next, slipping in a mix of photos and cards from the 4x6 Elements paper. I added embellishments like brads, stickers, and foam pieces to both sides, keeping the pages interactive and layered.

On the following page, I used the Journal Elements paper and placed a 3x4 photo of my daughter inside one of the chipboard frames. A few stickers and enamel dots finished the look.
The back features the Hello Nature paper, a large tag from the Big Bits pack, a sweet squirrel sticker, some ribbon, and a brad—simple and cute!
I returned to a 4x6 pocket page, adding a photo at the top and a 4x6 cut-apart card at the bottom. I used brads and stickers to dress it up. On the back, I included another photo and added a fun title using the stickers, some stars, and enamel dots.

For my last page, I used The View from Here paper on the front and layered in a foam title, a chipboard butterfly from the Decorative Brads, and more stickers.
On the back, I used the Time to Unplug paper and matted my photo with the Desert Rose paper from the Vintage Basics kit. I added a fun, slightly wonky title and a pair of crooked boots—meant to match the playful, off-kilter look, but it didn’t quite work out as planned. Still, it makes me smile!
This project was such a joy to create. I hope it inspires you to document your own outdoor adventures—whether it’s a weekend camping trip or a stroll through your local park. There’s something special about taking the time to pause and relive those peaceful, nature-filled days.
Happy crafting!
