Karlla here and I'm so happy to share this project with you.
I'm a very sentimental mom LOL, and every time I find myself creating a project with my son's "Birthday" theme, I get emotional.
The "Say Cheese Classic Pooh Birthday" collection has won my heart. The colors are incredible, and the elements are beyond words. It's simply beautiful. For this project, I wanted something playful.
For the background, I made an overlay with the papers "Elements 1" and "Color Vibe Pool" and a finish with irregular machine stitching.
Also in the background, I created a base for the photos and embellishments with squares of two different sizes. I positioned them diagonally and sewed them together. For the mixed prints, I used the 6x8 pad.
I used two photos for this layout. Since I didn't want to cover the background, I opted for layered embellishments. A mix of "Big Bits & Pieces," "Bits & Pieces," and "Simple Page Pieces." For this effect, I use multiple layers of foam tape.
For the top decoration, I highlighted the CUTE Pooh... along with a mix of balloons. The "5th" added more meaning to this project, and I used it as part of this decoration.
To finish, I used some cupcakes from "Cardstock Stickers", "Decorative Brads" and mini phrases from "Bits & Pieces".
