Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today and I'm so happy that the weather is warming up where I live. To me, warm weather means more adventures outside and I can't wait! My son and his girlfriend flew in for their Spring Break and we ventured out to Little Tokyo in Los Angeles. We had the best time and the Pack Your Bags collection was perfect to document this photo of them in one of the sushi restaurants. Here's my layout:
I chose to print my photo as a 4x4 and because I wanted to use a lot of patterned paper, I chose to go with a t-shape/cross design. I selected the following 12x12 papers: Where To Next, 2x2/4x4 Elements, 3x4 Elements, Packed & Ready and Seeing The Sights. I trimmed them down to thick strips, layered them together and before I adhered them down, I took the stencil from the collection and did some ink blending with a blue Distress Oxide ink pad right onto a piece of Warm White Color Vibe Cardstock. Once it was dry, I adhered all of my strips down.
There's this great skyline piece in the Chipboard sticker pack and it was a perfect addition on the horizontal part of the patterned papers. I created an embellishment cluster around it using a few Bits + Pieces.
I used a large phrase from the Foam Sticker sheet and I layered it right on top of my photo. It really pops on the page and is perfect for my photo.
I chose a cute "You + Me" foam sticker to be a sub-title and applied it at the bottom of my photo. I also added my journaling using one of the Journal Bits. It's a little open luggage and it's so adorable. I also embellished around the photo using some Chipboard Stickers and a few Bits + Pieces. I love all of the hearts with arrows in this collection!
Once I had all of my larger embellishments in place, I went in with the smaller ones. I used a few Decorative Brads, Enamel Dots and some of the small Chipboard hearts and I sprinkled those around the page. For a finishing touch, I added some tangled bits of thread and that completed my page.
