Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today and I'm so happy to share another Christmas layout with y'all! I used the Simple Vintage 'Tis The Season collection and let me tell you... it's absolutely gorgeous!! I had so much fun creating this page with all of the beautiful papers and embellishments, and I hope that you like it.
I knew that I wanted a darker background, so I chose the Spruce cardstock from the coordinating Vintage Basics paper pack. I then took the Christmas Stars stencil and ink blended some white pigment ink through it. I love adding white ink to dark cardstock, I think it looks so pretty when the inked designs really pop. To add more sparkle, I also ink blended in some gold ink and added a bit of gold Stickles from my stash. And because I couldn't stop there, I also rubbed on a few poinsettias from the 6x8 Transfer Sheets. Those rub ons are stunning!
Here's another shot of my pretty background, look at that pretty sparkle!
I originally wanted a vertical design that followed the path of my stenciling. But while I was creating, my design ended up going horizontal and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. To add more pattern to my page, I included a bit of the B side from the 3x4 Elements 12x12 paper as well as the polka dot side of the Currant cardstock, also from the Vintage Basics paper pack. Once they were adhered down, I layered a few Chipboard Frames together, matted my two photos using the 6x8 Paper Pad and adhered everything down to the center of my page.
Like I previously mentioned, there are so many gorgeous pieces in this collection. Especially the Ephemera!! I tucked quite a few pieces into my layers and made sure they were all peeking out from underneath my photos. I also layered in some Bits & Pieces and Floral Bits. There are beautiful magnolias in this collection (one of my favorite flowers), so I made sure they were visible on my page. I used a word from the Foam Stickers for my title and layered one of the Layered Chipboard stickers right next to it. That black camera was perfect for that empty space!
To continue with the stars theme that I had going on, I clustered some together and arranged them around the page. I also added in bits of tangled thread in coordinating colors and lastly sprinkled in a few Enamel Dots.
Here's one last shot of this super festive page:
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way! Have you picked up this collection yet? You are going to love all of the vintage pieces. I love anything vintage, especially vintage Christmas!! Have the best day friends!
