Do you love a rainbow of color? Then you’re in the right place! Today I’m sharing 5 cards made with the Simple Stories Color Vibe Collection. If you’re already a fan of Color Vibe because of the thick weight and fabulous color choices you’ll be delighted with all the additions to the collection!
Washi is perfect for adding a quick strip of color to a design. This card started with a Washi tape striped background! YES! You’ll find a roll of dotted washi in every color of Color Vibe cardstock! I topped the panel with some chipboard tabs, and a focal point of Flower Bits & Pieces.
This card has rainbow stripes of Color Vibe Summer cardstock. The strips are ½” and include all six colors included in the set. I think the secret of playing with pattern paper is mixing patterns and high contrast of light and dark. I added a Color Vibe Spring Sky Blue base, and clouds paper punched from White. The stars, tab and enamel dots are all from the Color Vibe summer Collection.
This card features a rainbow of Chipboard Bits & Pieces hearts on a Color Vibe White background from the Spring Cardstock Collection. I purposely left the sentiment banner blank so you could imagine different sentiments you could add with stickers, rub on’s or die cuts.
YES! The Flower Bits & Pieces are totally stackable! I left the flower centers off and replaced them with colorful shiny buttons. If you’ll look close you’ll see that I placed the light Sky Blue paper solid side up so that it contrasts with the dotted florals.
Color Vibe cardstock is solid on one side and dotted on the other and is perfect for card bases and mixing and matching with pattern papers from other collections. You’ll find a shade that coordinates perfectly with EVERY Simple Stories Collection and the different elements in each shade (paper, washi, die cuts, chipboard, enamel dots and buttons) always match! The hardest part will be deciding on your favorite shades! I’m totally a Summer because I love the bright rainbow colors!
