Hello crafty friends, Gloria Parra here today with a new layout featuring the awesome “True Colors” collection. I love the bold patterns and colors, the gorgeous florals and the fun embellishments in this collection. As soon as I saw the viewfinder chipboard frame I knew I had to use it! What I also knew I had to do as soon as I saw the two foam sticker that said “it’s me” and “hi” was to use the famous Taylor Swift song lyric as my title!
I started my layout with a white color vibe cardstock. I loved the “Happy to Report” pink striped patterned paper and decided to cut the bold stripes apart and distress them, arranging them a little askew on the left side. Making some of my strips longer and others shorter.
I then decided to use two chipboard frames on the right side of my layout. Layering the viewfinder on top of the square one and tucking some florals behind them.
I then created three floral clusters on the left side of my strips, like if they were sitting on a shelf. I started my clusters with a big floral ephemera piece and tucked some elements that represent things that I love, such as my planner, watercolors, camera, Frappuccino and crayons. I also tucked 3 paintbrushes in the same color as the bold strip, evoking the feeling that they had been painted.
I then created my title using the foam stickers that say “It’s me” “Hi”. To complete my sub-title I used the alpha stickers that you can find in the sticker book. I couldn’t love this title more, we are huge Swifties here and I love that this title is also a representation of our life right now!
I finished my layout placing some deco brads on some of my floral pieces, adding a different texture and shine to my layout. I hope you guys like my layout and feel inspired to create something fun and bold with this awesome collection.
