It's a Love Story!
Hi Friends, It's Dorymar sharing a beautiful project with the new Simple Vintage Love Story Collection today. This collection is pure Love and has adorable butterflies and flowers mixed with gorgeous vintage patterns and an exquisite color palette. Let's take a Look.
I selected one of the new limited editions, a 6x8 Sn@p Binder, Cranberry. This is the perfect match for the collection.
On the cover, I created an adorable scene with beautiful collection elements. I made many layers with bits and pieces of the collection. For a vintage look, I distressed the edges of my 6x8 paper and inked it with a brown tone. For the finishing touches, I added thread, ribbons, and enamel dots.
I started creating a fun flap on top of the Snap Page. As a title, I selected the "ever after" phrase from the rub-ons included with the collection; they are gorgeous and perfect for creating fun backgrounds on your pages.
When I use the Simple Vintage collections, one of my favorite techniques is tearing. When you pull the edges of your pages, add rub-ons, and ink, your photos stand out immediately.
Here, you can appreciate many layers. One of my favorite Simple Stories items is the Foam Stickers, perfect for adding titles, dimension, and an adorable look to your spreads. On this page, I used the giant "love" as my title; it looks fantastic.
I used my photo mat to create a pocket and have more space for photos and journals. I love to fill the pocket pages with cards included in the collection, but I also love to add my pictures and have room for gorgeous embellishments.
I love all the patterns in this collection, so I added as many as possible. I used the solid coordinating papers that the collection offers to highlight my photos. All of them, mixed with the titles in the foam stickers, the gorgeous florals in the floral bits, and the cute butterflies that I fussy cut from the Ever After patterned paper, give my project a stunning look.
Simple Stories offers you some new elements: the “Big Bits and Pieces”; these are fantastic for highlighting your projects; you can use them to create backgrounds, inserts, dividers, etc. In this case, I used them as inserts in my album to give another dramatic touch to my project. They seem fantastic to me!
