Hello friends, It’s Dorymar here today with a fun project with the HOMEGROWN collection. This collection is super fun, has beautiful colors mixed with gorgeous country life patterns and adorable farm elements.
For this project, I used the 6x8 Sn@p Flipbook-Red and as I wanted to do something different and creative, I reduced the flipbook to 5x8, (actual size 5.75 " x 8.75") as well as the pocket pages inside. On the cover, I recreated a farm landscape using several of the adorable elements that the collection includes. The bits and pieces, the puffy stickers the cardstock stickers, and patterned papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad.
One of the things that I love the most about this collection are the colorful patterns and the combination of these with red because I love the color red. I used the Tomato paper from the Color Vibe to create my interactive pages. In them, you can see pockets, flaps, and many, many decorative elements that make the project a very striking one.
Another thing that I love about Simple Stories is that it offers you a wide variety of cards and with the recent addition of tags and Journal elements, WOW you have tons of options to use as decoration. In these pages, you can see how I used the cards for different functions, as journal, decorative elements, and inserts. It's fantastic!
Simple Stories also offers you the new Simple Pages Pieces, this time I used the one that the Homegrown collection includes to decorate my pocket and highlighted it with brads and layers of patterned paper. Inside the pocket, I included Journal Elements and a big card for photos.
This project is full of beautiful elements! Cards, pockets, flaps, tags all together are the perfect match for a colorful and fun project.
I reduced the 6x8 pocket pages to 4x8 (actual size 4.25”x8”) to create small layouts to incorporate big photos, I also created small clusters with the gorgeous elements of the collection.
You see how cute the farm animals are!
Creating this project was super fun, searching through the pieces was fantastic! I hope this project inspires you to play with the beautiful HOMEGROWN collection.
Thanks for stopping by!
