Hello Simple Stories friends, it’s Becki here to share a scrapbook page with you that I created with the new Say Cheese Classic Pooh collection. Balloons are synonymous with birthdays. The balloons in the Say Cheese Classic Pooh collection are SO CUTE! I wanted to focus on those cute balloons on this layout.
Even though this collection is a Pooh themed collection filled with Pooh and the gang, I didn’t actually feature Pooh or any of his friends on this layout. There are so many fun elements in this collection that I focused on those for my husband’s birthday to give the layout less of a child feel.
The first thing I did to create this layout was to fussy cut a LOT of balloons from the “Ready to Party” patterned paper. I know fussy cutting is controversial. I love it though! It’s so fun and relaxing to me.
One of my favorite embellishments in this collection is the number bits and pieces. It’s so fun to add the date and/or age to a birthday layout. The number bits and pieces make that so easy and fun!
This layout was so fun to create! It was a fun challenge to create a layout using the Say Cheese Classic Pooh collection without using any of the actual characters to create a layout for an adult.
