Hello Simple Stories friends, Becki here, to share a layout with you that I created using the Boho Baby collection. Friends, I LOVE this collection! I’ve had so much fun creating with it. I only used one piece of 12x12 patterned papers on this layout. The other patterned papers are from the 6x8 paper pad.
I started out by layering a piece of white color vibe cardstock on top of the patterned paper background. On top of that I layered several strips of 1x8 patterned on the left side of the layout. Along the top of each patterned paper strip, I stitched with my sewing machine and white thread.
The two 3x4 photos are layered on top of the patterned paper strips. I adhered the photos slightly overlapping and askew to keep the whimsical feeling on this project. Below the photos I used the foam stickers to create the “Sweet Baby” title.
Because I wanted the photos and patterned papers to shine on this project, I kept the embellishments to a minimum. The Rainbow die cut pack is so fun!! I couldn’t wait to use a couple of cute rainbows on this project. The sunshine, cloud and heart die cuts were also a “must have” for me. This layout just wasn’t complete without them!
I am thrilled with how this project came together. This collection is so fun and so easy to work with because it has so many gorgeous patterned papers and a plethora of whimsical elements that are perfect for a baby boy OR a baby girl!
If you’d like to see how this layout came together, I have a full process video over on my YouTube channel. I’d love to have you join me over there.
Make sure you order this collection or pick it up at your local retailer. You don’t want to miss it! Happy Crafting, my friends!
