Hello everyone! I'm Dorymar. Today I feel many things at once, since this is my last project as a member of the design group. Next year, I'll take a break. However, I am also very excited to show you this beautiful winter work made with the fantastic Simple Vintage Flannel Season collection. What I liked most about this collection was the combination of warm and cool colors, especially how the red stands out among the baby blue and the wooden patterns. They look great, let's check it out!
I chose the Snap Binder 6x8 Cedar to complement the collection. Since this binder already has its own design, I simply put together a cluster using pieces from Big Bits and Pieces, Foam Stickers, Bits and Pieces, and Adhesive Brads.
Inside the cover, I added a pocket to store tags, photos, and journaling. I used the Color Vibe Birch/White Grid paper because its pattern matches the binder cover. Then I decorated with some of the beautiful elements that the collection brings.
The inside pages of the binder are white and include a pocket-type page, so I designed my compositions using these sheets as a base. Following my style, you will find pockets, labels, inserts, flaps, and many layers to add details to the project.
Here you can see how the red stands out against the cold colors, each piece fits together like a puzzle. Simple Stories always offers you the best elements to create a masterpiece.
This page is part of the binder. I created an elegant cluster using the "Bits and Pieces" elements and incorporated tags from the collection as well as a 4x6 photography piece inside. The addition of carefully selected details to the pieces in the pocket significantly enhances the project's attractive, beautiful presentation.
