It’s Sophie, @so_scrappy, with you on the blog today, sharing a brand-new layout!
I used the Sweet Summertime collection and decided to go with a circular layout this time!
I cut three circles from patterned papers, plus one smaller circle from white cardstock. I added a backstitch in matching thread around the edge of each circle and finished the white cardstock circle with a pretty scalloped edge.
I placed my photo slightly crooked on the right side of the white circle, then embellished around it with gorgeous floral die cuts and cardstock stickers.
I added my title above the photo, along with a sun, a few clouds, and a sweet little bird, then finished it all off with some handwritten journaling.
I love how this circular shape brought a fun, playful energy to the page — such a perfect match for the Sweet Summertime collection! I hope this layout inspires you to try something a little different on your next project. Happy scrapping!
