Hello Simple Stories friends, Becki here, to share two layouts with you that I created with the Simple Vintage Country Harvest collection. Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. I love everything about it! I love the colors, the cooler temperatures, the pumpkins, the cozy sweaters, the falling leaves...all of it! First up is a layout titled, Fabulous Fall.
I was giddy when I saw the Simple Vintage Country Harvest collection because it has all the fall things!! The product that I’m choosing to focus on is the chipboard frames. I haven’t used many of the chipboard frames lately and I wanted to make sure that I used them with this collection.
Because I had three photos, I adhered two chipboard frames together to make one long frame that covered the center of the page. I love trimming and altering embellishments to make them work for my projects. Just below the row of frames, I added the title “fabulous fall” using a combination of foam stickers and chipboard, the perfect title combination!
To finish the layout and pull everything together, I created an embellishment cluster along the bottom and top edges of the page with a bit of torn paper, die cuts, stickers and washi.
The next layout is titled “Harvest.” This layout has a very different look even though I used many of the same embellishments from the same collection.
Again, I wanted to use the chipboard frames. On the main photo, I added a white border in between the chipboard and the photo to make the photo stand out.
Just below the main photo, I added a chipboard title “harvest.” It fit perfectly around the chipboard frames.
I kept the embellishments to a minimum on this layout because I wanted to make sure that the photos and the frames were the focal point. I only added a few die cuts and a couple of hearts to complete this project.
I LOVE how these projects came together. I had so much fun using the chipboard frames on these two layouts. I can’t wait to see what you create with the Simple Vintage Country Harvest collection, especially the chipboard frames. Happy crafting, my friends!
