Hello Simple Stories Friends & fans! It’s Lory here today to share a brand new page. Finally I had the right occasion to tell the story of this photo! The Family Fun collection was perfect! The colors and its amazing details made me create the page in few minutes.
Of course I am a sort of perfectionist so I look and look again at the whole page to see how it comes out. Playing with so dare beautiful embellishments makes me feel happy. The colors, the endless possibility you have to combine all the elements together makes me feel quite, excited , happy!
It’s a big pleasure to close the door of my craft room and just play and have fun.

The patterned paper I have loved immediate was the red and white stripes followed from the number paper! I wanted to use them adding some pop of yellow and turquoise. As I usually do I have created a cluster of embellishments together, the journaling bits, the chipboards, the tag with my journaling, the puffy stickers, the little phrase stickers from the stickers book, they are my favorite. The page came out so easily! I wanted to focus my attention on the colors of the picture so this collection has revealed just perfect! My son Andrea has always loved to play with the legos, one of his favorite game ever.

I adore to add the journaling of course but to give to all the elements the right place in the page. Each elements has to be well visible and has to caught your eyes and your attention. I mean I need to see each piece of my page clearly. For this reason I play with different dimensions and with the double side tape to give dynamism to the whole page. I have made many cuts to the red and white stripes paper and I rolled each piece a little.

Pops of blue and yellow have given a happy mood to my page and they match with the picture colors perfectly.
The little phrase stickers are perfect to add some journaling spots in the page and meaning. To mat the photo I added some little piece of a circle in the blue color. To complete the whole page I added some chipboard stickers, some decorative brads and some drops of black ink here and there.
I love how the page came together at the end.

Hope you like this page and it will inspire you to create and preserve your family memories.
Love, Lory
