Hello Simple Stories friends. Karlla here and I'm so happy to share a new project with you. I can hardly believe it's already October, and I'm excited for this year's trick-or-treating.
Today, I'm sharing a special layout featuring the "Say Cheese Classic Mouse Halloween" collection, it's simply BOOTIFUL!
We’ve been celebrating Halloween since my baby was just a few months old, and it’s always a blast every year. For this project, I used photos from a year when we visited a farm that was fully decorated for a spooky night tour. It was amazing!
I layered the 11x11" "Halloween Time" paper with the 10.5x10.5" "Haunted Happenings" paper. I layered one over the other and then did some irregular machine stitching. Afterward, I attached it to the "Boo Crew" base paper using foam tape.
Cut two strips of "Stay Spooky" paper, measuring 9x5" and 9x4". Cut fringe into both ends (left and right) of the strips. Glue them together, then position the piece on the left side of the base using foam tape.
In "Bits & Pieces and Journal Bits & Pieces," I positioned the tag and the two ghosts using layered foam tape to create depth. I added the photos next.
Still using "Bits & Pieces" and "Journal Bits & Pieces," I adhered the "Boo" title over the photos and placed the ghost tag on the second photo.
For the "Chipboard Pieces," I used the pumpkins, the speech bubbles, and the pumpkin flame over the photo. All layered with foam tape.
In "Page Pieces," I used the phrase "Happy Halloween" at the bottom. For the subtitle "The pumpkin patch" and the "circle 31," I used items from the "Cardstock Stickers Basics" set.
I finished the layout with a mix of details, including decorative brads, foam stickers, and glitter enamel dots.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope I’ve inspired you in some way.
I can't wait to see your creations.
Hugs,
Karlla
