Hello Simple Stories friends!!
It’s Sophie @so_scrappy here and I am so excited to share my very first layout as a design team member for Simple Stories!! I used the beautiful “For The Record” collection.
I wanted to document a precious moment for me and my daughter, baking together last December. I printed my photo in black and white so that it stands out well amongst all the bold and beautiful colors of the collection.
I tore and layered two patterned papers behind my 12x12 white cardstock and ruffled up their edges.
I used one of the chipboard frames for my photo. I backed the frame with a floral paper from the collection and used it horizontally, although my photo is vertical.
I added two fussy cut tags out of patterned papers on the right side of my photo, and many embellishments that come from the Bits & Pieces die cuts, Floral die cuts and Sticker book.
I used one of the foam stickers for my title, hand wrote my journaling and added a few enamel dots as the finishing touch.
Here are more close-ups:
I LOVED creating this page! I hope that it gives you new ideas to try!
Make sure to get your hands on this versatile and colorful collection!
Thank you for stopping by, and happy crafting!
Sophie Delorme
