Hello everyone! I'm sure all of you have already collected some great memories this summer, and there's still time left to do that with a few more weeks of summer left! Recently, once again I realized that it doesn't have to be anything grand and expensive to be awesome and memorable! Something very simple, like a trip to the farm, can be one of the best summer memories. And that's exactly what we have in plans for our kids next week!
Anya here today and I am happy to share with you a mini album, that I created with the Homegrown collection. It will be a perfect little book to hold these precious memories. My kids are so much into animals at this age, that a trip to the farm sounds more exciting than a trip to the beach. Sounds good to me!
To create this album, I used both 12x12” and 6x8” papers, alternating colors and designs for my pages. It is so much fun to see how the book comes together, especially when you get a chance to work with such cute line as this one. I added a white photo frame to all of the pages and lightly decorated them with ephemera and stickers. All there's left to do is print photos, trim them and add to the album.
Decorating the cover is always my last step in creating a mini book. Here, I added a few layers to the center of the album cover, including stickers, chipboard and brads. And no project is considered finished until you sprinkle it with a few enamel dots!
Hope you were inspired by the project today to visit a farm near you and to create a similar album to hold those memories!
