Hey friends! Brianna here today and I'm sharing a layout I created using the fa-BOO-lous Spooky Things collection. I LOVE Halloween and I especially love documenting our fun memories using the Simple Stories Halloween collections. They're just that good!! Here's my layout, I documented a couple of photos of my daughter at Disneyland last year. We are headed there again in two weeks and I can't wait to document even more Halloween photos of her there!
I used a piece of Warm White Color Vibe cardstock as my base and then adhered the super cute B side of the Journal Elements 12x12 paper at a fun angle. I love the star design with the purple base. Purple is one of my favorite colors so whenever I get to scrapbook with it, I'm totally inspired!
Next, I matted my photos using the Boo to You 12x12 paper. I wanted the bold black but also wanted a bit of pattern that the florals provided. I popped them up on foam tape and adhered them towards the bottom of that star paper. I pulled the adorable ghosts from the Chipboard stickers and even adhered the two spider webs at the top corners of my layout. So fun!
I chose the 'Hocus Pocus' foam sticker as my title and then thought it would be fun to stick a bunch of the paper strips from the Journal Bits pack underneath it. In doing that, it brought some fun layers, color and pattern down at the bottom and I love how they look!
Next, I sprinkled in some foam bat stickers and also added in that adorable witches hat from the Bits and Pieces pack. I also thought it would be fun to add in a bunch of the stars from that same pack, to go with the stars in the patterned paper.
To finish things off, I wrote some journaling on a pumpkin from the Journal Bits pack and adhered it to the bottom right corner of my layout. I also built a small embellishment cluster right next to it! It came out so cute. As a finishing touch, I sprinkled in a few of the Decorative Brads and that completed this spook-tacular page!
