Hello, it’s Emma with you today, I’d like to share with you how I’ve used the Simple Vintage Ancestry Collection by Simple Stories.
I decided to use the Robins Egg 6x8 Sn@p! Binder as the colours seemed to work beautifully together.
I covered the binder with a cut down 12x12 sheet, this is the Always & Forever sheet of paper from the collection kit.
The butterflies caught my eye and so I decided to bling up the cover with butterflies I fussy cut out and stuck them down with little flat back gems. You can never have to much sparkle right?!
I tied a delicate piece of gold ribbon around the front of the binder, just to finish it off.
I’ve recently become a Granny and it’s made me feel that I should document more about me and my family, going back over the generations!...this Ancestry collection is certainly the perfect one to use!
I wanted to do plenty of pocket pages where I can write down and journal about my family, past and present.
I’d also like to add lots of photos too.
You’ll see how I love to embellish using the decorative Brads, layered stickers, enamel dots...the more layers the better, for me!
I’d like to imagine that in years to come, my little Grandaughter will sit down with her Grandchildren and show them the binder and chat to them about her Granny!
I hoped you’ve enjoyed a peek inside my Ancestry binder and will take away a few ideas of your own.
