Hello…. Hello! Crafty peeps
This is Lydia here with you sharing my absolute favourite fall mini with you all!
I’m super excited for this mini album named, “FALL MEMORIES “
The album has been made exclusively with the ACORN LANE collection from Simple Stories. One of the main reasons that it turned out super pretty has to be because of the colour palette and the elements from this collection, a chic and fun toned one!
For the cover I had to go with the prettiest plaid from the collection! Embellished with some torn paper as the base and added chipboard, sticker and enamel dots as details.
I had to take a little break from the traditional closures of the album, so I added a pocket to the back cover and a flap to the front cover. The flap is inserted to the back pocket as a closure and keeps the album intact. To add more interest to the flap, a RUB-ON quote from the collection has been used.
The inside pages are pockets! And guess what I used to make them???!! 3x4 JOURNAL CARDS!
I cut them up in two’s, folded, glued a side to make a pocket and stuck them to my spine binding and everything was done in under 10 mins!!! Well, this is what makes Simple Stories my favourite.... making my crafty life simple and less messy!!
For the pocket inserts I cut up the TAG sheet and inserted them. Then I went on and embellished the mini with the gorgeous embellishments from the collection!
It turned out super pretty right?
