Hello Simple Stories friends! It's Jen Davis here today on the blog sharing the stunning Simple Vintage Country Harvest collection! How do I love thee? Let me count the ways!! It's so, so, so very pretty! The colors, the designs and artwork, AND it features elements that feature my all time favorite season. Yay!
I don't know about you but I absolutely adore this time of year! Pumpkins, orchard visits, the changing leaves and the brisk feel to the air...fall is definitely my favorite! This collection of papers and embellishments from Simple Stories certainly allows for your creativity to flow when creating with fall in mind. I am enjoying the blues mixed in with the more traditional seasonal colors in this collection.
And the large chipboard pieces are an absolute favorite as well! I love that they look like a cluster of embellishments...they truly look to be three dimensional! They make creating a simple layout look as though you spent hours assembling and putting things together.
One of my daughter's absolute favorite things to do in early fall is to help with yard work (yes, she really does help us rake!!), after which we create huge piles of leaves perfect for jumping in! Every single year we do this and it never gets old. Such a simple and basic thing to capture when it comes to fall memories. What are some of your family's favorite fall memories that you find yourself capturing year after year?
I am thinking this collection would be perfect for featuring photos from family Thanksgiving gatherings as well. I'm making sure that I set some aside for creating after this year's festivities! I'm thinking a mini-book might be fun? We'll see! I'll be sure to share what it is that I come up with!
