Hello Simple Stories friends, it’s Becki here to share a scrapbook page with you that I created with the new Crafty Babe collection. Recently, I went to a scrapbooking event with Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine. I was able to connect with a few friends from the Simple Stories design team! It was a dream come true to spend a few days with dear friends and meet new friends. I knew before I left for the event that I wanted to scrapbook the memories I made there with the new Crafty Babe collection. It’s absolutely perfect!
As soon as I got home, I printed photos and got to work creating this layout! I love the cut apart tags in this collection and knew that they would make the perfect addition to my layout.
I started by fussy cutting the tags, punching a hole, and adding a white bow at the top with white crochet thread. Then I surrounded my photo with three tags. To finish the tags, I added an adhesive brad over the whole of each tag.
Below the photo, I added a strip of striped patterned paper and my title. Of course, I added the foam sticker “fabulous” as the title. It’s perfect!
To add balance to the layout, I added a couple of journaling die cuts above the line of photos and tags.
I finished the layout with a few embellishments and journaling strips at the bottom. I am SO happy with how this layout came together and that I have this special memory documented with such a cute collection!
