Do you love Halloween? I confess that it’s my favorite holiday! I love how creative people get decorating their houses and coming up with the cleverest costumes! If you love Halloween too then you’ll love the new Simple Stories Faboolous collection!
This collection is frightfully fun with the cutest ghosts, black cats, skeletons and spooky creatures! You’ll also find lots of pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns, a haunted house and lots of pretty flowers too!
The collection colors are primarily orange and black with a pop of pastel pink that compliments the collection.
The papers are available as a 6x8” pad or in a 12” collection kit. I used the larger papers for my cards because I wanted to also use the journal elements and sticker sheet that are included in the 12” collection kit.
You’ll also have lots of embellishments to choose from: chipboard, foam stickers, and THREE different packs of printed die cut bits and pieces. The ephemera bits and pieces include images, the journaling pack elements are perfect for creating focal points or adding personalization, and the floral pack includes loads of florals to make it pretty!
Don’t forget the embellishments – I call those the icing on the cake! You’ll have decorative brads, washi, and glossy enamel dots to choose from.
These cards came together quick! I like to use clear plastic cards the size of my card front to arrange the elements on. Because the plastic is clear I can slide patterned paper underneath my arrangement to get a preview of what my card will look like.
You’ll even have lots of “extras” for your other Halloween projects – and a whole sheet of tags to decorate special gifts for the ghouls on your list!
