Hello Simple Stories friends, Becki here, to share a layout with you that I created with the brand-new Trail Mix collection. This collection is SO cute! Even if you don’t go camping (I don’t go camping unless you consider staying in a hotel “camping”) this collection is a MUST HAVE!!!
When I saw this collection, I knew I had the perfect photos to go with it from our day trip to Glacier National Park in Montana. There are three things that I usually reach for in each Simple Stories collection: foam stickers, chipboard frames, and the tags patterned paper. I was thrilled when all three of these products worked so well on this layout!
I immediately fell in love with the pink plaid paper. I knew I wanted it to be my background but as I got working on the layout, I decided that I wanted a bold border. The beautiful wood grain paper was perfect for that! I LOVE working with tags. I thought that it would be fun to connect two tags from across the page using white string. In the end, it reminded me of a clothesline that might hang in a campsite. I think it’s such a fun addition!
Because we weren’t really camping, I decided to use the title, “nature” on this layout. I love that you have TONS of title options, not only in the foam stickers but throughout the collection.
I am so thrilled with how this layout came together with the fun products in the Trail Mix collection. I cannot wait to see what YOU create with the Trail Mix collection!!
