Hello Simple Stories friends! Gloria Parra here today with a layout that was oh la la, so fun to create! After a couple of weeks spent at Disney Orlando, I have tons of photos waiting to be scrapped and the new “Say Cheese” collection has me so excited to do so!
I started documenting our favorite ride in Epcot, “Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure” and the Say Cheese Epic collection was perfect for my theme! I started with the diagonal red, blue and white lines paper for my base. I cut a color vibe white cardstock at 11 1/4” square and layered it on top. You can gut (cut the middle) of the lines paper to save some of that beautiful paper for future projects!
I then used the floral squared patterned paper, to create another layer. I love that this paper reminds me of French restaurants tablecloths. I cut this paper at 9 1/8x 10 1/4” and rounded the corners at the bottom while adhering it at the middle of my layout.
I then used the France cut apart patterned paper to fussy cut the mouse, the Arc of Triumph, the “Wish you were here” word bubble and the word strips.
I started creating my big lower left cluster by layering the big arch first and adding foam adhesive to layer the mouse and food on top. I added the foam sticker cloud and the little poodle dog to finish my cluster.
On the right side I placed my (3) 3x4” photos and created a middle small cluster at the right by adding the bubble cut apart, the yum sticker and the little red foam beret.
At the top I created a fun cluster for my title using as the main anchoring piece the big tag from the “Page Pieces” ephemera pack. I placed the foam words “Epic Food and Wine” for my title and then tucked some food ephemera and a couple of deco brads.
What a fun page to create to document our love for this ride and for for the magic of this place! Hope you guys like it and feel inspired to scrap those wonderful Disney photos.
