The Great Outdoors! by Dorymar Perez

Hello friends, It’s Dorymar today with a beautiful project featuring the new Simple Vintage Lakeside Collection. If you love the outdoors, this collection is for you. Lets’ take a look!

I used the Whitewashed Wood 6x8 Flipbook because the wood design match perfectly with this rustic collection. One of the main elements in this project are the frames. These are perfect for creating beautiful designs, you will see how good they look when complemented with other elements of this adorable collection.

On the cover I mixed a few adorable items of this collection. I used the Frames, Bit and Pieces, Adhesive Brads, Chipboard Stickers and Elements Sticker, all elements in this collection are majestic.

I used my flipbook horizontally, this gave me the opportunity to incorporate the beautiful frames and create adorable layouts with many layers, full of all the beautiful goodies that this collection include.

I always incorporate interactive pages to make the project a lot more fun. In this case, I used the Basic Collection, these papers are perfect to create any type of pages, inserts, flaps, pockets or simply to be used as mats for your photos. As they offer you different colors on both sides, create this page was very easy for me, I only made a score, and the pocket was left with two shades of beautiful colors.

For my 4x6 Pocket Page, I used the Aquamarine/Fern basis paper to create a flap and an insert. They mixed perfectly with the patterned papers.

In this spread, I used the Aquamarine/Fern to create the base.

The designs and colors in this collection are too real. The die cuts, stickers and chipboards are extremely real and make the project perfect for nature.

You may think that because of the position of the album it is difficult to incorporate the 3x4 and 4x4 cards, but no; using the album in this way makes you take your creativity to the maximum expression. In my case it was a lot of fun because sometimes I reduced the cards, in others I used them as a pocket, in others as inserts and the result was magnificent.

I hope my project inspires you to use this wonderful collection to document all the adventures you had this summer.

Happy crafting.
