They Call Me Crafty! by Dorymar Perez

Hello friends, It’s Dorymar! Today I’m going to share with you a phenomenal project with the new “Let’s Get Crafty” collection, when I saw the collection I fell in love instantly, this is the collection that every scrapbooker needs to buy more than three times. Every single piece in this collection is PERFECT! Let's take a look!

I used the Pink 6x8 Sn@p binder because it’s the perfect match with this collection, on the cover I tried to create a fun happy place for a scrapbooker. I selected one of the simple patterns from the 6x8 Paper Pad to show off all the beautiful pieces I selected to create the cover. I used several pieces from the bits and pieces, elements sticker and chipboard stickers, all of them are placed with foam tape for a dimensional look.

As I am delighted with the collection, I focused on creating many pockets and flaps so that it would be very fun when turning the pages. The collection is full of bright colors and many beautiful elements, creating many flaps and pockets allowed me to use them all.

The page on the left side is my favorite in this project, because it reminded me of my scrapbook room. The shelves full of materials and all the cute goodies around them.  Also, the 6x8 paper with the cutting mat pattern is just perfect!

The page dividers included in the snap album are very useful, I love using them in different ways, because of their size and thickness they are perfect for holding flaps and pockets, but also all the decoration. Here you can see a flap with a front pocket which also has space inside to add 3 or 4 pictures.

The collection is full of journaling cards with amazing designs, I wanted to use them all to not just show them but to also add interaction to the project. For that, I used one of the pocket pages and cut it out to add flaps to my designs. They look great and fun!

Each of the pages of this project are inspired by us scrapbookers. In the pocket pages I made designs where you can place any photo related to the hobby.

The “Crafty Girl” patterned paper is my favorite in this collection, each hexagon has a beautiful design in the inside. They are perfect to be used to highlight a journaling card, or to create a tab and even a fun background as I did. I think this paper was created for fussy cut around every single piece.

I hope my project inspires you to use this fantastic collection. I had a lot of fun designing and playing with each of the majestic pieces that this collection includes. The “Let’s Get Crafty” collection is the perfect one for any crafty girl.

Happy Crafting!
