It's Conny here sharing an album project using 6X8 SN@P! BINDER - ROBIN'S EGG and the What’s Cookin’? Collection. The collection is full of details, the cutest embellishments, icons, and it's the perfect collection document for the cook/chef in your family or to gift to that special someone who always fills your tummy! In my family, we enjoy being surrounded by good food and cooking delicious dishes. This collection will help me keep the recipes organized, add journaling, and even photos of us cooking our favorite recipes.
Let's get started!
On the cover of the Album, I started by adding a ribbon and tied a bow. Then trimmed the Let’s Eat paper from the 12” X 12” collection kit. I love all the florals in this collection- so I had to display them on the cover. I still wanted to show the chipboard underneath leaving about 1/8” around. On top of that floral paper, I added the title "Family", florals from the chipboard stickers, decorative brands, and enamel dots.
Inside the album:
I love adding different interactive pages using the tag elements paper, journaling elements, 2X2/ 4X4 Elements, and so on!
On the first page I trimmed a 12” X 12” double-sided cardstock at 6 1/4” X 12” and scored at 8 1/2”. Matted a white Color Vibe Paper 8” X 5 1/4”. Added Rub-ons clusters, bits, and pieces from the collection.
Moving on you will need the tag element 12” X 12” paper and WHAT'S COOKIN' - DINE IN. For the pages. Of course, they can be added as is but I like to create interaction in my album, trim both tags and square elements with alphabet matted on white cardstock and scored depending on how you want them to flip open and ribbon to the tags.
You can also add pages to the album or embellish the pages that come with binders by adding a cluster of embellishments or titles using foam stickers from the Color Vibe collection.
Pages that have the same cardstock can also be different, as shown here. One is a lovely pocket to hold all the recipe cards of extra things you collect when completing the album or to add photos on the other side of those recipes.
Added shakers with clear pockets and sequins displaying 4” X6” elements flip up and you see those lovely florals from a sticker book and a journal card! Secret recipes, haha!!
