Deck the Halls Binder

Deck the Halls Binder
Happy Holidays, friends! Tis the season to be jolly and I’m all for it! I’m excited to share my holiday album with you. The Yuletide collection is beautiful, and I just love the vintage feel of this collection!
For those of you who have been inspired by my albums, you know I love creating these SNAP albums and I pretty much set these albums up a certain way. Sure, I like to embellish the front of the album with ribbon, papers, and embellishments, but I also enjoy adding little touches here and there that makes the album pop. It’s the little details that matter… I embellished the spine with decorated brads and chipboard. I like to do this with all my albums so that I can easily determine what theme the album is when they are all lined up on my bookshelf.  I like to decorate the back of the cover and the chipboard pages using rub-ons, too. I just love the quality of these rub-ons…and let’s not forget about the notebook pages…these pages are perfect for writing a letter to Santa… who’s been good this year?
I used the rub-on sentiments for the different chipboard tabs. I love how pretty these tabs look all lined up… what do you think? I’m hoping to give you a few fun ideas to start your holiday album!
I adhered a 6x8 patterned paper from the Yuletide Paper pad to create a fun insert page. I glued the poinsettia at the top right-side of the page to add dimension and added the stars at the bottom.
Next, I matted a 4x6 photo using the chipboard frame with Santa. I glued the sled die cut at the bottom and tucked some holly behind it to create a fun cluster of embellishments. I mounted the chipboard bells at the top with the “together” foam square to spread out the embellishments a bit.
Here is a fun pocket page spread I created using the tag cut-apart sheets, foam stickers with a variety of die cuts layered at the bottom to create a fun flip card.
This is the flip card. I like how when it’s fully opened, it looks like another 6z8 spread. Also…you may have noticed the holly covering some faces… yes… I did that on purpose since they are no longer part of the family. Sorry, friends…but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to keep family members happy when flipping through your albums.  And it’s a great photo so I wasn’t going to not include it…
I LOVE this spread so much. I love the reindeers… and how the chipboard title looks at the top. The little girl is a die cut that I carefully placed between the deer. Isn’t this beautiful?
Since this is a holiday album… I had to include a fun pocket page for letters and fun tags that can be removed and tucked back in. I added the “letters to Santa” rub-on at the top with the stars for fun.
I can’t wait to add a few more pages to this album. What are your favorite elements of this beautiful collection? We’d love to hear your thoughts. I just love the vintage feel of this collection with the reindeer, little girls, and all the beautiful embellishments. Thank you so much for visiting today!
